Books

Currently reading:

Current philosophy of interest: Theodore Adorno
So far this has been a dry and complicated read, but packed with a lot of good stuff.
My notes from this book is packed with the help AI interpetations and exsplainations that are a wonderful aid. Adorno literally writes sentences with so much brain-food that i need something to decipher it for me >.*
You probably dont know what this book is really about, so let me oversimplify: Music is not a recurce for social criticism or enlightenment anymore but has gotten standardized trough the capitalist culture industry which only wants a passive, brainless listener that dosent use their freedom.
Ive stopped reading the book, but ive found a lot of nice articles and blogs about this so ill check them out
I plan to use some new techniqes in order to retain what ive actually read and learnt instead of annoyingly forgetting it a day or two after ive read it. I also would like to share what i learn and think because i think it could better the way of living for people because having more valuable awareness and understanding makes ones life-quality better. (Ive probably written more abt this on my music page lel).

Started reading this big boiii
I have read some of his shorter writings as well as listened to most of his interviews
I even watched the movie The end of the tour!(i recomend it a lot! the quote hit me when David said "i have lived an incredible amarican life" when he commented on why he went depressed )
Gonna take a GOOD long while to read this large and complicated book. Its so large and bunerable to getting sraps that ive deiced to just keep it at my hut for the time being and read it when im there

Read:

Walden was a very calming book to read. It is about the authour (Thoreau) that decides to live away in the woods in a small cabin he built from himself, as solitary and as cheap as possible. It has philosophical ramblings about how society dirties the soul of the individual pepole and also descriptions to how he lived that way he lived. There is literally a whole chapter about growing beans. The writing was so intruiging and fluent that it motivated and made me want to try to write as well, but i sometimes got bored and skipped some parts lol. The philosophy was Very striking to me because of his talk about individualism shaped by chosen principles that exist trough art, and a leisure time spent in nature and in contemplation. I think i would like to write more about Thoreaus thoughts and writings. Thoreau made me wonder about how i can really pay attention and observe what is going on. Meditation is great here because it quiets down the mind, also made me want to waddle out in nature all alone and enjoy the time there, very lovley. I would especially recomend Thoreau for anyone interested in writing too because his writing is so unique compared to others i have read
